Our purpose is to help teens and young adults reach their employment goals. We help teach the skills you need and build the confidence necessary for you to take the next steps towards your future. We work through individual or group coaching sessions that fit the specific needs of each student.

In an ever-changing world our young people are dealing with new challenges. Many benefit from the skill-building and coaching programs that we offer.

Job Readiness Training Modules

A Better Track provides 6 modules that act as the foundation of our curriculum. These skills are used to support and guide the additional instruction and experiences provided by the program.

Resume Building: Begins with an outline which then transitions to a formal resume. Tailored resumes are also created for specific employment goals.

Application: online, paper copy, text.

Workplace behavior: This lesson is also supported by many of the skills taught in the self-advocacy portion of the program.  

What you need to work: Vital documents needed to gain employment.

Job Hunting 101: Teaches various methods and industries. In addition, there are practice opportunities provided to advance this skill.

‍•Mock Interviews: Interview principles, entry level employment opportunities, and career opportunities are explored.  

A Better Track offers programming and courses to help teens and young adults in group and individual settings.

Optimal Reasoning Program

This program is designed to develop advanced social skills in difficult situations.

Our programs and courses are designed around evidence -based models that have been proven to be effective. We integrate the needs of the individual or group into each program. A Better Track utilizes the principles of cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing to guide clients and family members through the course or program that best fits them.
